Role Overview

As a Plumber within the Engineering department reporting to the Engineering Manager at Shebara Resort, your primary role is to install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems. Emphasizing both guest safety and comfort, you will ensure plumbing operations run efficiently and meet professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and repair pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems.
• Assemble and test water supply, drainage, and sanitation networks to guarantee proper functioning.
• Maintain adequate water pressure and leak-free plumbing connections.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose plumbing problems and execute repair or replacement of faulty components.
• Address issues such as leaks, clogged drains, broken pipes, and malfunctioning water heaters.
• Replace worn parts including washers, valves, and gaskets.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce emergencies.
• Adhere strictly to plumbing codes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
• Use air and water pressure gauges to check systems for leaks.
• Ensure environmental compliance in wastewater disposal.
• Keep detailed records of installations, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with other engineering, electrical, and maintenance personnel to resolve facility issues.
• Provide cost estimates and recommendations for plumbing materials and improvements.
• Respond swiftly to emergency plumbing demands minimizing disruptions for guests and staff.
