Role Overview
We seek a Payroll Coordinator to serve as the main contact for approximately 2,000 employees across Canada. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and punctually while handling various payroll administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete payroll process to ensure timely and precise salary payments.
- Perform all payroll case management tasks.
- Calculate gross to net pay and maintain payroll balances.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders such as Talent, Legal, and Benefits providers to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit payroll deductions and remittances as required by regulations.
- Execute year-end payroll activities efficiently.
Team Environment
This role is part of an eight-member administrative team tasked with National Payroll processing and support for all employees and business lines.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant has at least three years of experience within a large, multi-jurisdictional payroll environment, demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills, possesses or is pursuing Canadian Payroll Association certification, and excels in multitasking and organization.
Bilingualism in French and English is advantageous due to interactions with national and global clients. Familiarity with PeopleSoft software is considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range offered is between $47,000 and $78,000 CAD, with eligibility to participate in a bonus program.
