About the Team

Joining the Partner Solutions Architecture (PSA) team means playing a key role in guiding Stripe's partners through technical expertise. This role involves collaborating closely with the Partner Development Manager to develop comprehensive technical business plans, create new service offerings based on Stripe’s technology, and foster the growth of Stripe’s presence in the AUNZ region.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with strategic partners to integrate and expand Stripe solutions, driving significant growth in the AUNZ market.
• Design and implement partner enablement initiatives.
• Lead in-depth technical discussions and solution analysis showcasing Stripe’s value to partner clients.
• Engage with CTOs and engineering leaders at partner organizations to share technology advances, align roadmaps, and formulate strategies to increase partnership revenue.
• Report progress internally through quarterly business reviews and other communications.
• Support partners during their sales cycles to ensure collaborative success in joint opportunities.
• Educate Stripe's sales teams on partner capabilities and solutions.
• Advocate for key partners within sales regions and identify opportunities for joint sales efforts.
• Deliver thought leadership through webinars and conferences within the financial and AI domains.
• Create technical content such as sample code and demos to assist partners with implementation of use cases and best practices.
• Offer partner-centric guidance on Stripe’s products by providing feedback to internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in client-facing engineering roles like solution consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer within a global software enterprise.
• Experience working with Global System Integrators (GSI) and System Integrators (SI) in the AUNZ region.
• Strong executive presence with proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Proficient in leading group discussions and customer meetings to open strategic opportunities.
• Advanced knowledge in AI technologies including Agentic commerce and intelligent agents.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and API architectures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capability to quickly learn Stripe’s product suite including Payments, Billing, Connect, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems including ERP, CRM, Billing, Tax, and legacy systems integration.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities across multiple opportunities.
• Creative and strategic mindset with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and achieving objectives.

Work Environment

Employees are generally expected to spend at least 50% of their working time in the local office or with users, although this may vary by role and location. Some teams may have stricter in-office attendance requirements to support collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position in Sydney ranges between AUD 293,500 and AUD 440,300, adjusted based on location and candidate qualifications. This range includes base salary and commissions or bonuses where applicable. Additional benefits may include equity, bonuses, retirement plans, health coverage, and wellness allowances.
