Role Overview
The Outreach Respite Manager will lead the design, management, and delivery of diverse respite services within the Southeast region, which includes day, evening, weekend respite, after-school support, and summer activity sessions. This role involves oversight of staff and budget management to guarantee the highest quality clinical care and compliance with Enable Ireland's policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, manage, and regularly review respite services aligned to community needs and Enable Ireland’s strategic service model.
- Ensure all services are child-centered and adhere to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Lead, supervise, and support the multidisciplinary staff team, coordinating necessary training and development.
- Manage resources efficiently including staffing and budgets.
Essential Criteria
- Certified third-level qualification in Nursing or Social Care relevant to this position.
- Proven experience working with children with disabilities.
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience relevant to similar roles.
- Proficiency in leading and managing teams and resources.
- Full valid driver’s license and personal transport availability.
- Right to work in Ireland.
- Registration with CORU or NMBI.
Desirable Criteria
- Additional qualification in management.
- Experience in developing and delivering training sessions.
- Background working within healthcare or not-for-profit sectors.
Contract and Remuneration
- Position type: Full-time permanent contract.
- Working hours: 35 hours per week.
- Salary range: €55,430 to €68,228 pro rata annually, inclusive of long service increments as applicable.
- Potential salary increases anticipated in 2026 following the WRC agreement.
- Annual leave entitlement: 33 days pro rata.
