Role Overview

This full-time position in Lucknow requires the Optometrist to conduct thorough eye examinations covering refraction, ocular health checks, and contact lens fittings, employing suitable diagnostic tools and techniques. The role involves prescribing corrective lenses, advising on frame and lens selections, and ensuring precise dispensing in partnership with the in-store team. Maintaining detailed patient records, following clinical protocols, and delivering education on eye care, prevention, and follow-ups are key duties.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in optometry including refraction, eye health assessment, contact lens fitting, and prescription management.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills to guide patients in eye care and product choices.
• Capability to operate diagnostic instruments and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills to thrive in a busy retail environment.
• Possession of an accredited Optometry degree or diploma with valid registration or license as per local guidelines.
• Previous retail optical experience and familiarity with digital systems is preferable.
• Willingness to work onsite in Lucknow, including during weekends or peak times, while upholding ethical standards.
