Job description
Job Overview
The primary objective of this position is to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of vaults, creating a secure environment that facilitates effective control of securitized products. The role demands maintaining strict accountability and security of stock items at all times.
Key Duties
- Manage product buffers efficiently and ensure vaults are balanced at the end of every shift.
- Maintain constant accountability and security of all products within the vault.
- Organize vault layouts to enhance product flow and strictly follow the first-in-first-out (FIFO) stock control system.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations diligently.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure consistent stock availability.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum educational qualification: Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting is mandatory.
- Preferably holds a Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics, stock control, or has undergone bulk teller training such as commercial bank cash handling or possesses security experience.
- Has 2-3 years of experience in warehousing or bulk cash handling; experience in a production setting is advantageous.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Expertise in bulk cash handling procedures.
- Proficiency in managing securitized product vault controls.
- Experience in vault layout planning and vault balancing operations.
- Strong stock control abilities.
- Competent administrative skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong numerical skills.
