Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer and System Administrator to take ownership of our ERP system as it is deployed across our multiple companies. This role entails working directly with the founding team and various business units to analyze current processes, translate them for Odoo implementation, and build a robust system that will underpin our operations long-term.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume technical responsibility for the Odoo environment spanning several companies and entities within the Group.
• Collaborate with implementation partners during initial rollout phases, gradually internalizing system management.
• Engage with each business unit to understand existing workflows and redesign these processes within the Odoo framework.
• Create and customize modules where built-in features fail to meet business needs.
• Manage daily system administration tasks including user role configuration, access permissions, data integrity, software updates, and troubleshooting.
• Provide training to staff across the Group to ensure effective and consistent system usage.
• Document system configurations and procedural workflows to support maintenance as the Group scales.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Odoo, both in configuration and development capacities. A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant technical discipline strengthens an application, alongside knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, or previous ERP implementation experience. Aptitude for understanding complex operational workflows and translating them into system functionality is critical.
