Company Overview

Ocean Hotels Group in Barbados is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to oversee property management during nighttime hours with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Role Responsibilities

  • Operate as the Manager on Duty between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am, responsible for all property-related activities.
  • Utilize knowledge of the Property Management System and accounting principles to reconcile daily transactions.
  • Ensure accuracy by reviewing Front Desk, Reservations, Accounts Receivable, Restaurant transactions, and Credit Card reports.
  • Perform Front Desk duties aligned with AAA 5 Diamond and LQA Benchmark standards, including phone handling, guest check-ins and checkouts, and guest folio management.
  • Manage reservations and execute the End of Day procedures.
  • Compile and submit detailed shift and property audit reports.

Training Provided

  • Instruction in Maestro system, Front Desk, and Reservation operations.
  • Education on general hospitality and specific standard operating procedures across the three properties.
  • Training focused on AAA 5 Diamond service standards and LQA benchmarks.

Training Support Materials

  • A comprehensive training manual covering job aspects.
  • Nightly checklists per property to ensure task completion.
  • Report templates guiding expected submissions.
  • Information highlighting hotel diversity.

Expected Outcomes

  • Proficiency in auditing and managing Front Desk functions.
  • Solid knowledge of property details for reservations and guest interactions.
  • Capability to represent the General Manager and maintain property oversight overnight.

Development & Performance

  • Attend training programs to uphold department and hotel standards.
  • Participate in performance appraisals to enhance strengths and address weaknesses.
  • Thoroughly understand and comply with the Ocean Hotels Employee handbook policies.
  • Engage in ongoing training as directed by HR and management.
