Job description
Role Overview
Based in Albany, Auckland, this position focuses on enhancing our organic online visibility in international markets by conducting comprehensive keyword research, developing and executing targeted content strategies, and continuously analyzing SEO performance. Communication within the team is conducted in English, whereas content creation predominantly involves producing native-level writing in a non-English language.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed keyword research utilizing SEMrush to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Develop and implement a content strategy centered around targeted keywords.
- Create SEO-optimized content designed to increase organic traffic, published primarily via WordPress.
- Enhance website content through SEO best practices including meta titles, headers (H1–H3), internal links, schema markup, and image alt text.
- Track content performance metrics with tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Google Analytics and refine strategies accordingly.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in fields emphasizing writing or business disciplines, such as English, Journalism, Public Relations, Linguistics, Technical Communications, or Law.
- Outstanding writing skills with over two years of experience producing keyword-driven website content.
- Proficiency in WordPress content management and common SEO plugins.
- Expertise in using SEMrush for keyword research and content planning.
- Fluency in English at C1 or higher CEFR level (IELTS 7+).
- Native proficiency in one of these languages: Malay, Arabic, Latin American Spanish, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Thai, or Vietnamese.
- Familiarity with Forex Trading and Contracts for Difference (CFDs).
Additional Information
- Candidates are encouraged to submit examples of their writing—such as website content, blogs, landing pages, or other SEO materials—for evaluation.
- An in-person assessment of writing abilities is part of the interview procedure.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, based at our Auckland office.
