Job Overview
A leading global engineering consultancy located in Perth CBD is looking for a seasoned Mechanical Revit Modeller to join their Building Services team. This role offers a chance to engage with a breadth of significant projects including Defence, healthcare, and correctional facility developments, where you will contribute detailed Mechanical BIM models and comprehensive documentation within a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Key Duties
- Create and update sophisticated mechanical Revit models for major projects.
- Support projects in Defence, healthcare, and correctional sectors by producing precise 3D models and detailed documentation compliant with project specifications.
- Model mechanical building services, specifically HVAC and related systems, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and other professional disciplines to guarantee effective BIM coordination.
- Participate in regular model evaluations, including clash detection and coordination among multiple disciplines.
- Interpret design inputs and translate them effectively into Revit models.
- Ensure the maintenance of high standards of model consistency, quality, and documentation integrity.
- Assist in delivering projects from design stages through to completed documentation.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years’ experience working as a Mechanical Revit Modeller within a building services context.
- Expertise in Revit MEP is mandatory.
- Proven background in modelling mechanical building services, especially HVAC systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience handling large-scale and technically demanding projects.
- Advantageous to have worked on Defence, healthcare, correctional, government, or similarly regulated projects.
- Familiarity with Australian building services standards and documentation protocols is essential.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens due to the security requirements of Defence projects.
