Electrical BIM Modeller

Job Overview

We are looking to hire a skilled Electrical BIM Modeller to join a prestigious and expanding electrical building services consultancy located in the Perth Fringe area. This role presents an excellent chance to engage with a variety of technically challenging and large-scale projects, working closely with seasoned engineers and industry specialists.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee detailed electrical BIM models utilizing Revit software.
• Develop coordinated 3D models encompassing power, lighting, earthing, communications, and related electrical systems.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective BIM coordination.
• Generate precise electrical documentation and comprehensive drawing packages.
• Assist engineers throughout the design and documentation phases.
• Attend BIM coordination sessions, conduct model reviews, and participate in clash detection activities.
• Ensure high standards of model integrity, accuracy, and documentation quality are maintained.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least six years of experience as an Electrical Modeller within a building services consultancy is preferred.
• Expertise in using Revit is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical building services design and documentation processes.
• Experience managing technically complex or large-scale projects.
• Knowledgeable about Australian Standards and relevant Western Australian regulations.
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to maintaining quality.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary package ranging from $120,000 to $125,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
