Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the meat department's cleanliness, organization, and zoning to ensure it is always ready for customers.
• Conduct regular stock rotation and remove any expired or unsellable products.
• Verify the accuracy of pricing and signage, applying Walmart's procedures for ordering, clearance, marking prices up or down, labeling, and signing.
• Implement and comply with food safety standards, including monitoring temperatures, calibrating thermometers, proper food handling, product rotation, and abiding by sell-by and expiration dates.
• Take customer orders and prepare deli items such as meats, cheeses, and fried chicken using equipment like slicers, rotisserie ovens, and deep fryers safely.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary workplace.
• Be flexible with shift scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs and deliver consistent service.

• Manage a busy workload effectively, especially during overnight shifts, maintaining energy and concentration.

Compensation
