Maintenance Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a rapidly expanding client located in County Westmeath, Ireland. The company specializes in the production of innovative products for a global customer base and boasts a world-class manufacturing setup with considerable investments in automation, technology, and advanced production techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment with minimal downtime.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose root causes, and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Lead and actively engage in various projects aimed at operational improvements.
• Champion operational excellence and foster continuous improvement within the facility.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified maintenance technician or possess a Level 6 qualification related to the field.
• Demonstrated experience working in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts including day, evening, and night shifts from Monday to Friday.
• Resident in Westmeath or nearby locations with reliable personal transportation.
