Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Tape Edger to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on finishing mattress borders and panels with accuracy, maintaining quality standards, and working collaboratively within a supportive team setting. Comprehensive training to grow your competencies will be provided.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate tape edging and sewing machines safely and efficiently
- Precisely edge and finish mattress components following specifications
- Attach tape uniformly for a premium finish
- Prepare necessary materials and components for the sewing process
- Conduct quality inspection of completed work to confirm standards
- Report any defects or quality-related concerns
- Adhere to production instructions, work orders, and standard operating procedures
- Rotate jobs and undertake other production tasks as trained and authorized
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Participate in housekeeping tasks and continuous improvement processes like 5S
- Collaborate closely with team members to fulfill production targets
- Comply with health, safety, and personal protective equipment requirements
Candidate Profile
No extensive prior experience is necessary; however, backgrounds in sewing, upholstery, manufacturing, or tape edging are considered an advantage.

- Able to follow detailed instructions and meet specifications

- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Flexibility to work overtime, including Saturdays
