Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Tape Edger to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on finishing mattress borders and panels with accuracy, maintaining quality standards, and working collaboratively within a supportive team setting. Comprehensive training to grow your competencies will be provided.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate tape edging and sewing machines safely and efficiently
  • Precisely edge and finish mattress components following specifications
  • Attach tape uniformly for a premium finish
  • Prepare necessary materials and components for the sewing process
  • Conduct quality inspection of completed work to confirm standards
  • Report any defects or quality-related concerns
  • Adhere to production instructions, work orders, and standard operating procedures
  • Rotate jobs and undertake other production tasks as trained and authorized
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Participate in housekeeping tasks and continuous improvement processes like 5S
  • Collaborate closely with team members to fulfill production targets
  • Comply with health, safety, and personal protective equipment requirements

Candidate Profile

No extensive prior experience is necessary; however, backgrounds in sewing, upholstery, manufacturing, or tape edging are considered an advantage.

  • Able to follow detailed instructions and meet specifications

  • Flexibility to work overtime, including Saturdays
