Job description
About the Role
Join us to actively shape the future of artificial intelligence rather than merely using it. Our team of around 50 specialists in ServiceNow, software development, and security is currently creating the AI division from scratch. This is a dynamic and innovative environment, akin to a startup, within a larger corporation where you can influence our AI community, develop your own solutions, and deliver value to clients across various industries.
We provide end-to-end support for our clients, from consulting through to operation, embracing technology flexibility with no rigid mandates—always selecting the optimal tools for the task, including your suggestions.
Expect exciting projects, a diverse and inclusive workplace, and regular team interaction. We emphasize knowledge exchange and offer personalized career paths, whether you choose a technical or leadership trajectory—you guide your development, and we support it.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, automate, and manage production environments for machine learning and artificial intelligence applications.
- Develop and maintain MLOps pipelines incorporating CI/CD processes, deployment workflows, and monitoring systems.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency of the AI infrastructure.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to maintain operational excellence.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to transition machine learning models smoothly into production.
- Evaluate and improve existing architectures, workflows, and resource usage for optimal performance.
Candidate Qualifications
- Completed degree in computer science, data science, or related fields; alternatively, at least five years of professional experience in IT.
- Minimum of three years practical experience working within artificial intelligence or equivalent domains.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, alongside container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience using CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code solutions, for example, GitLab CI, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go; familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Fluent German communication skills at the C1 level (proven) and strong English language abilities.
- Knowledge of MLOps frameworks like MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker is advantageous.
Benefits and Work Environment
- Enjoy a collegial atmosphere with open communication and a flat hierarchy where all team members address each other informally.
- Work primarily from your home location to maintain close client relationships and support work-life balance.
- Flexible working hours are offered, with opportunities for remote work depending on client engagements.
- Access to training and certifications via our e-learning platform, allowing you to learn at your convenience.
- Invest part of your gross salary in company shares, with a matching contribution up to 3% of your monthly salary.
- Participate in profit-sharing plans based on your individual performance and overall company success.
- Support for environmentally friendly commuting including job tickets and bicycles; depending on role and project, options for Bahncard or company electric vehicles may apply.
- Opportunities for sabbaticals and parental leave without hampering career progression.
- Additional leave options and support in challenging times, including access to an advice hotline.
- Numerous events and recreational activities to foster a strong sense of belonging within the team.
