Role Overview
As a Lot Associate at The Home Depot in Chula Vista, CA, you will play a key role in assisting customers with loading their purchases into their vehicles and ensuring the store entrance is well-maintained. This position is crucial as it often represents the first and last point of contact between the customer and the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers by loading their vehicles with purchased items.
- Monitor and maintain the store entrance to ensure it is welcoming and safe.
- Ensure a sufficient number of shopping carts are available near the store entrance for customer use.
- Interact regularly with both customers and store associates to offer support and assistance.
Customer Service Emphasis
This role requires excellent customer service skills as the Lot Associate frequently interacts directly with customers both as they arrive and as they leave the store. Positive, helpful, and respectful communication is essential.
