Role Overview
We seek a proactive Retail Liabilities Specialist to act as a subject matter expert for CASA and deposit products for a banking client in Saudi Arabia. This position will oversee pricing strategies, measure portfolio performance, and handle full product lifecycle tasks focused on retail liability offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for CASA and deposit product propositions, leading efforts from conceptualization to market launch
- Develop and manage pricing models and analyze cost of funds for retail liabilities
- Track and report on portfolio performance by monitoring critical liability KPIs
- Strategize and drive initiatives for customer acquisition and retention of deposit products
- Handle product lifecycle management including enhancements, pricing adjustments, and product phase-out or migration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, pricing, and treasury to optimize deposit composition
- Assist in designing Sharia-compliant deposit products where relevant
Candidate Requirements
- Solid hands-on expertise with consumer deposits and CASA product lines
- Strong grasp of pricing strategies and cost of fund analytics
- Experience analyzing portfolio performance metrics within retail banking liabilities
- Familiarity with retail banking liability operations is essential
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Sharia-compliant deposit frameworks
- Insight into the retail banking landscape of KSA and the Gulf Cooperation Council region
- Experience collaborating with treasury or asset-liability management on pricing strategies
