Job description
About the Role
This position is based in County Cavan and involves hybrid working with three days onsite per week. The Learning and Development Specialist will collaborate closely with company leaders, the People team, and external partners to oversee, coordinate, and evaluate various learning programs. The role emphasizes program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and comprehensive administrative responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the learning department.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a reliable contact point for leaders, HR Business Partners, and external learning providers regarding all learning matters.
- Handle daily coordination duties such as organizing schedules, managing nominations, communicating with participants, tracking attendance and completions, following up with suppliers, and collecting evaluation feedback across different locations and departments.
- Maintain precise administrative records to keep programs on track, including managing attendance follow-ups, compiling reports, and updating documentation, alongside supporting prominent learning events.
- Create insightful dashboards and reports that analyze learning data, highlighting successes, identifying gaps, and informing priority areas for development.
- Utilize feedback and performance information to assess learning impact and contribute to continuous program improvements.
- Assist in developing learning materials and toolkits in partnership with external facilitators who primarily deliver sessions.
- Contribute to the organization's digital capabilities by identifying digital skill deficiencies and promoting confidence and usage of new tools and systems.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or possessing a recognized qualification in HR or Learning & Development.
- Experienced in a versatile, generalist learning and development role.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills, comfortable managing schedules, records, follow-ups, and reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to coordinate all phases of learning program delivery, including scheduling, stakeholder liaison, evaluation, and reporting.
- Skilled in analyzing feedback and data to detect trends and drive improvements in learning initiatives.
- Proficient with digital learning platforms, e-learning, LMS systems, and Microsoft 365 to support educational delivery, tracking, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities with credibility at all organizational levels.
- Holding a coaching or profiling accreditation is considered a beneficial addition.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a salary range of 55,000 to 65,000 EUR annually, along with additional benefits including health insurance and pension contributions.
