Role Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily activities of a small on-site crew.
- Work actively alongside your team to complete tasks efficiently.
- Manage tools, materials, and workflow to maintain continuous progress.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards within the crew.
- Detect and report potential issues or risks promptly to senior site personnel.
- Keep precise documentation of work performed and communicate progress upwards.
- Guide and mentor less experienced tradespeople.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a relevant trade qualification with approximately 3 to 5 years of practical experience.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a crew setting.
- Strong understanding and commitment to maintaining site safety standards.
- Effective communication skills to manage a team and liaise with supervisors.
- Ability to solve practical problems and keep a crew productive under site pressures.
- Possess a valid White Card and applicable trade-specific licenses.
