Role Overview

As a Kitchen Leader, you will master skills such as food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables to ensure our dishes meet high standards of quality. You will oversee kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness and safety, manage inventory, and train team members to progress into leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established policies and procedures to maintain food quality and safety.
• Prepare and cook food orders accurately according to kitchen protocols.
• Supervise and motivate kitchen staff while fostering cooperation between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Manage inventory and control food waste effectively.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized in compliance with health standards.
• Keep kitchen equipment in good working condition, arranging timely repairs when necessary.
• Complete required documentation, including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
• Create a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a restaurant setting.
• Ability to understand and communicate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the primary language(s) used at the work location.
• Availability to work at least 32 hours a week with open availability for at least four days, two of which must include Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.
