Jira Administrator / Atlassian Solution Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Jira Administrator and Atlassian Solution Engineer to support and optimize Atlassian tools including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. The right candidate will provide stable, scalable, and customized platform solutions to meet business demands through workflow automation, system enhancements, and platform maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and maintain Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence platforms.
• Oversee Jira Data Center environments ensuring optimal performance, security, and stability.
• Design and refine workflows, permissions, screens, issue types, and automation setups.
• Develop tailored solutions using ScriptRunner, JMWE, and other Atlassian marketplace applications.
• Create dashboards, reports, and analytics via EazyBI for business intelligence and decision support.
• Execute system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks; monitor platform health routinely.
• Troubleshoot platform issues promptly and provide timely solutions.
• Collaborate with various teams to gather needs and deliver effective Atlassian solutions aligned with business goals.
• Maintain compliance with governance standards, security protocols, and best practices related to system administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years practical experience in Jira administration, including managing Jira Data Center.
• Proficient with ScriptRunner, JMWE, and EazyBI tools and applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in administration of Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence platforms.
• Experience with application lifecycle management including upgrades, patching, and support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Effective communication skills in English for seamless collaboration.
