Role Overview
This position is for a Java Developer based out of Noida with a work-from-office requirement. The role involves hands-on expertise in product technology development, progressing as the venture evolves with ongoing role refinement aligned with business needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead technological solutions and maintain an updated technology stack.
- Address technical debt aligned with strategic architecture decisions.
- Perform technology audits and implement recommended improvements.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews to enforce best practices.
- Promote automation and DevOps process enhancements incrementally.
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional software applications.
- Develop, optimize, and produce reliable, reusable Java code ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Diagnose and resolve application bottlenecks and bugs effectively.
- Maintain code organization, quality, and automate relevant processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech degree holder with 3.5 to 6 years professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming and ecosystem knowledge.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience building Microservices hosted on AWS.
- Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
- Ability to write reusable Java libraries and understand concurrency patterns.
- Working knowledge of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful services.
- Experience with web frameworks such as Play and Spark.
- Understanding of Java GUI libraries like Swing, SWT, and AWT as applicable.
- Capability to write clean, maintainable, and readable Java code.
- Experience with external and embedded databases and designing relevant schemas.
- Grasp of scalable application design principles and JVM internals including class loading.
- Competency in implementing automated testing and unit test frameworks.
- Proficient with Git version control and build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
- Exposure to continuous integration systems.
- Strong Java backend development skills combined with experience integrating AI/ML solutions within enterprise systems.
