Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java AI Fullstack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend and frontend solutions. The role demands strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Apache Kafka event streaming, and React.js front-end development. The candidate should be capable of creating RESTful APIs, managing Kafka producers/consumers, integrating React.js with backend services, and working with various databases while ensuring application security and performance.

Responsibilities

• Create and sustain scalable Java applications with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services to support frontend applications.
• Build and manage event-driven solutions and data pipelines using Apache Kafka, including producer and consumer components, topic and partition handling, and message processing.
• Implement asynchronous, reliable communication between microservices via Kafka.
• Develop responsive and reusable UI components with React.js and integrate these with Spring Boot REST APIs.
• Work proficiently with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Enforce application-level security, covering authentication, authorization, and API protection.
• Write unit and integration tests applying frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
• Troubleshoot issues spanning applications, APIs, Kafka clusters, and production environments promptly and effectively.
• Engage in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and sound architectural principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, QA, and developers within Agile/Scrum settings.
• Assist with continuous integration and delivery pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong professional experience (6+ years) in software development with Java versions 8, 11, and 17+.
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and microservices design.
• Proficiency in RESTful web services and backend API development.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles, collection frameworks, multi-threading, exception handling, and design patterns.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka including development of producers and consumers, understanding of topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, and error handling.
• Experience with Kafka Streams and troubleshooting Kafka performance or reliability issues is advantageous.
• Front-end expertise with React.js including JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, React hooks, component building, state management, and REST API integration; experience with Redux is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle; NoSQL database experience such as MongoDB preferred.
• Experience with version control tools (Git/GitHub), build tools (Maven/Gradle), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within distributed Agile teams.
