Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in developing enterprise-level applications utilizing Java, J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, MS SQL, Postgres, and Oracle databases. Expertise with AWS and Newgen product suites including NewgenOne, iBPS, ECM/OmniDocs, and O2MS/CCM is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of dependable software solutions.
• Design, implement, and deliver high-quality software projects leveraging Java technologies such as Spring Boot, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, Junit, Mockito, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle: detailed design, coding, code reviews, unit and system testing, user acceptance testing, demonstrations, proof of concepts, installation, and maintenance.
• Prepare critical project documentation including process diagrams, code specifications, review records, deployment guides, release notes, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Follow rigorous testing protocols including crafting test cases, negative tests, and optimizing through troubleshooting techniques like log analysis and database query enhancement.
• Produce clear solution documentation using flowcharts, diagrams, annotated code, and layouts while ensuring projects meet deadlines within scope and quality standards.
• Protect sensitive operational data by maintaining strict confidentiality and contribute to ongoing improvements by collecting and analyzing data related to development and service challenges.
• Exhibit adaptability and a proactive approach to support project success and uphold superior quality throughout development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency with Eclipse, GitHub, Soap UI, Postman, Jira, and SVN.
• Strong knowledge of Newgen product suite and solid grasp of business process management principles.
• Demonstrated skills in web application security, REST/SOAP API integration, and performance and scalability optimization.
• Experience with third-party integrations such as Corpass, SingPass, or Core Banking systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with application servers including Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and code quality tools like Sonar.
• Hands-on experience working on AWS cloud platform is a plus.
