IT/SCADA/Electrical Interface Engineer - Arabic Speaking

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interface Engineer fluent in Arabic to join a consulting project focused on Asset Integrity restructuring within the Power Distribution sector. This contract role, based in Doha, Qatar, requires a transferrable Qatar VISA along with a valid driving license and own vehicle. The initial contract duration is 1 year with a possibility of extension for an additional year.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the power distribution sector, with exposure to IT, SCADA, Electrical, or related functional departments.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English languages for effective communication.
• Strong understanding of power distribution processes and operations.
• Previous experience in consulting or business process management, including preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), requirement management, and process mapping ('As Is' and 'To Be').
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and liaise effectively with senior management and client teams.
• Competent in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Engineering degree (minimum four-year program) in any discipline is required.
• Additional background in operations management or related fields is advantageous.

Additional Information

• Employment is contract-based for two years, with extension subject to performance.

• The role requires presence on-site in Doha, Qatar.
