Instructional Designer

Position Overview

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking an Instructional Designer to create impactful learning experiences that effectively change behavior. This role integrates learning science principles with practical production skills to convert subject matter expertise into engaging educational courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a range of learning programs including e-learning modules, instructor-led training sessions, and blended learning approaches.
• Perform needs assessments and establish measurable objectives for learning outcomes.
• Create storyboards, author content, and produce learning materials using specialized authoring software.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to capture and organize their knowledge effectively.
• Conduct pilot sessions, collect feedback from learners, and refine instructional materials to enhance their effectiveness.
• Manage learning management system (LMS) maintenance and analyze learning data for ongoing improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years experience in instructional design or learning experience design roles.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Captivate.
• Deep knowledge of adult education theories and instructional design frameworks like ADDIE and SAM.
• Experience using LMS platforms including Cornerstone, Docebo, and LearnUpon.
• Excellent written communication skills combined with a strong sense of visual design.
• A portfolio showcasing previously designed learning experiences is required.
