Role Overview
Kaizen Global Technologies is seeking an experienced HSE Administrator to join their team located at Lobs Hole, Cooma, NSW. This role involves providing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental administrative support on a site operating a 14-days on, 7-days off roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily HSE administrative tasks including maintaining documentation, registers, reports, and site records.
- Coordinating employee onboarding procedures, site inductions, HSE training sessions, and maintaining competency records.
- Supporting the reporting process for incidents, near-misses, hazards, and corrective actions, ensuring precise record-keeping.
- Assisting HSE teams with audits, inspections, compliance checks, and implementation of corrective measures.
- Organizing HSE meetings, preparing minutes, managing action registers, and monitoring follow-up activities.
- Ensuring effective document control to keep all HSE records accurate, current, and easily accessible.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Over five years of proven experience in roles such as HSE Administrator, HSEQ Administrator, WHS Administrator, or Safety Administrator.
- Experience supporting HSE or WHS teams in sectors like construction, infrastructure, energy, mining, or other major project environments.
- Strong background in managing onboarding processes, site inductions, HSE documentation, training, and compliance records.
- Proficient in incident reporting, hazard and near-miss documentation, and compiling periodic HSE reports.
- Exceptional skills in document control, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a site-based FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) work setting, adhering to a 14-days on, 7-days off schedule.
