Overview
The role of Guest Services Assistant goes beyond facilitating smooth check-in and check-out procedures. This position focuses on crafting memorable and distinctive guest experiences by proactively delivering a broad spectrum of services that support guests throughout their stay. Empowered to navigate freely and address operational and guest-related needs, the Guest Services Assistant manages transactions seamlessly as part of the overall experience.
Job Duties
Key responsibilities incorporate managing guest requests, completing necessary reports, sharing local insights, and maintaining high standards of professionalism. The role demands physical activity such as standing, sitting, walking for prolonged periods, and handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without help. Strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, confidentiality, asset protection, and quality benchmarks is essential, alongside maintaining professional appearance and communication.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). Prior work experience or supervisory experience is not required, and no licenses or certifications are necessary.
