F&B Service Assistant

Position Overview

This role transcends simply serving food and drinks; it focuses on crafting an exceptional and unique dining experience for guests. The F&B Service Assistant proactively provides a variety of services to ensure guests fully enjoy their meals. Tasks include setting tables, liaising with kitchen staff, guest interaction and service, along with maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies. The intent is to make every transaction an integral and pleasant part of the overall experience.

Key Responsibilities and Work Environment

Success in this role depends on maintaining a safe work environment, adhering strictly to company policies and procedures, preserving quality standards, and projecting professionalism in uniform, appearance, and communication. The job involves extensive physical activity such as standing, sitting, or moving around for long periods, navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, managing menus with visual and reading checks, and physically handling items weighing up to 25 pounds alone or up to 50 pounds with help. Tasks may also require stretching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Flexibility to perform other reasonable duties as assigned is expected.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Completion of high school or GED equivalent
• Work Experience: Less than one year in related field
• Supervisory Experience: None required
• Certifications: None required
