Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper zoning in the grocery area to ensure it is always presentable for customers.
• Perform regular product rotation and remove expired or damaged goods to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Ensure accurate pricing, signing, and inventory by following company procedures for ordering, clearance, markdowns, and labeling.
• Adhere to food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to keep the workspace safe and hygienic.
• Stock merchandise fully, manage downstocking tasks, apply product protection as needed, and set up shelving modules including flexible and new shelf displays.
• Comply with health and safety policies to maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by being available for various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store operations and customer service.

Challenges of the Role

• Efficiently manage heavy workloads in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts, by planning to maintain energy and focus.
• Handle extensive restocking and recovery tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
• Meet physical demands including standing for long periods, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs routinely and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive stocking and organizing tasks with consistency and attention to detail.

Compensation

The position offers a starting hourly wage of $16.50.
