Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the grocery section ensuring it is well-zoned and customer-ready at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock and promptly remove expired or damaged goods to preserve product quality.
• Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and inventory by following prescribed procedures for ordering, markdowns, markups, and labeling.
• Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols to sustain a safe working atmosphere.
• Keep the department fully stocked by replenishing merchandise, executing downstocking tasks, applying product protections, and arranging shelf displays including modulars and flex modulars.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, adapting to business needs.
• Effectively manage task volume in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts, by staying focused and energized.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and carrying out repetitive stocking and zoning duties with care.

Compensation

The position offers a starting hourly wage of $18.40 CAD.
