Position Overview

Key Duties

• Keep the grocery area consistently clean, arranged, and correctly zoned for optimal customer readiness.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired or damaged goods to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Accurately price, sign, and label merchandise, adhering to established processes for inventory management, clearances, and markups or markdowns.
• Comply with all food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning standards to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
• Stock merchandise fully and complete required downstocking tasks; execute modular setups including flex modulars and new shelf caps; apply product protection when necessary.
• Follow health and safety policies rigorously to ensure a safe, clean, hazard-free work area.
• Be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business requirements and consistent service delivery.

Challenges in the Role

• Handle a fast-paced, high-volume workload efficiently, including overnight shifts, while maintaining energy and focus.
• Perform physical activities such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs., alongside repetitive tasks like stocking and zoning, while maintaining attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting pay for this role is $16.50 per hour.
