Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper zoning within the grocery department to keep it customer-ready at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock, removing expired or damaged items to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Accurately sign and price merchandise, adhering to prescribed procedures for ordering, clearance, marking up/down, pricing, labeling, and flagging.
• Follow established food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary workplace.
• Stock shelves and complete modular displays including flex modulars and new shelf caps to ensure the department is adequately supplied and visually appealing.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure, clean, and hazard-free environment.
• Exhibit flexibility by being willing to work various shifts, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs.

Challenges You May Face

• Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts, requiring effective energy and focus management.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Consistently carry out repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation

The wage for this role starts at a minimum of $17.75 per hour.
