Key Responsibilities

• Keep the grocery department neat, well-organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is always customer-ready.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove any expired or damaged items to maintain product freshness and quality.
• Verify accurate pricing and labeling for merchandise, adhering to company procedures for ordering, clearance, markdowns, and signage.
• Follow food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to uphold a hygienic and safe workspace.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, including completing downstocking, applying product protection, and managing modular setups like flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment.
• Be flexible with work schedules, including availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, supporting seamless store operations and consistent customer service.

Challenges in the Role

• Effectively manage a fast-paced, high-volume workload, especially during overnight shifts, by planning and maintaining energy levels.
• Handle physical tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory or supplies weighing between 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive stocking, zoning, and organization duties with precision to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $17.75 per hour.
