Job Role Overview

As a Sales Associate, you will leverage your understanding and enthusiasm for pets to assist customers in selecting the appropriate nutritional products and solutions tailored to their pets’ needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cashier transactions and assist customers with sales inquiries and product choices.
• Prepare merchandise orders, manage banking tasks, and handle other relevant paperwork.
• Stock small merchandise items, typically weighing under 10 pounds, in the sales area.
• Maintain store cleanliness through sweeping, dusting, and general upkeep duties.
• Assist in unloading inventory deliveries containing pet food and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and organizing stock.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary to support store operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in retail or customer service environments.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and transaction processing.
• A friendly, outgoing personality coupled with excellent customer service capabilities.
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work according to scheduled shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Reliable transportation to access the store location.
