Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Web Developer with at least three years of professional experience specializing in Python and React.js. This full-time position is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, requiring onsite attendance. The developer will be entrusted with owning and enhancing an existing live web application, encompassing backend and frontend development, API and database management, and production deployment responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services primarily using Python.
- Design, build, and sustain frontend components with React.js.
- Take full ownership and understanding of the current production codebase developed by others.
- Create and manage RESTful APIs and handle seamless integration between frontend and backend.
- Maintain dashboards related to administration, sales, and accounts.
- Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL efficiently.
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment solutions such as Razorpay.
- Manage source control systems including Git and GitHub for versioning.
- Deploy and maintain applications on Linux-based cloud servers (e.g., DigitalOcean).
- Configure server aspects such as Nginx, SSL certificates, domain name systems, and other server settings.
- Troubleshoot application errors and production-related issues.
- Ensure data backup routines and assist in disaster recovery procedures.
- Enhance application performance, security, and reliability continuously.
- Document technical processes and architectural components thoroughly.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of three years' experience in professional software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and React.js frameworks.
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Expertise in using Git and GitHub for source code management.
- Comfortable working within Linux environments and cloud platforms like DigitalOcean.
- Exposure to configuring web servers and handling network components including Nginx and SSL.
- Competence in integrating APIs, webhooks, and payment gateways such as Razorpay.
- Proven ability to perform production deployments and error troubleshooting.
Candidate Profile
This position is designed for a hands-on developer capable of comprehensively managing both frontend and backend domains. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding and gradually taking complete technical responsibility for an existing project, including all facets from frontend and backend to databases, APIs, and deployments in a live environment.
Compensation Details
The monthly salary offered for this role ranges between INR 20,000 and INR 25,000.
