Role Overview

They seek a Full Stack Software Engineer skilled at building dependable, scalable software systems incorporating modern AI functionalities. This role involves working with Python, JavaScript, and Golang to create backend services, client-facing applications, APIs, databases, and AI-based workflows. Ideal candidates enjoy progressing quickly to develop practical products that operate reliably in production, integrating AI ideas into tangible, scalable systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full stack applications using Python, JavaScript, Next.js, and Golang.
  • Create and implement agentic AI workflows featuring multi-step processes, tool usage, memory capabilities, and coordination among multiple agents.
  • Build and oversee AI operations pipelines supporting large language models, including deployment, monitoring, evaluation, prompt/version management, cost tracking, and system observability.
  • Integrate AI models, APIs, large language models, data sources, and internal tools into live production environments.
  • Design system architectures emphasizing scalability, service boundaries, efficient data flow, caching mechanisms, queues, retry policies, failure handling, and overall performance.
  • Construct clean database schemas and write optimized, dependable queries.
  • Define and implement well-documented APIs for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with product, research, and engineering teams to transition AI features from prototypes to production-ready implementations.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through monitoring, alerting, debugging, and resolving incidents.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, technical planning, and product discovery processes.
  • Maintain a fast development pace while shipping completed work thoughtfully and continually enhancing engineering quality.
  • Engage with relevant parties throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing practices to support sustainable long-term maintenance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Between 3 to 6 years of experience creating full stack applications, backend services, APIs, and production-ready software systems.
  • Proficient in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages.
  • Experience with Golang or readiness to quickly learn it.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform; knowledge of Ansible is advantageous.
  • Experience working with both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker; Kubernetes expertise is a plus.
  • Direct involvement in building or operating AI-enabled software systems, including agentic workflows or applications powered by large language models.
  • Understanding of agent orchestration concepts like multi-step reasoning, effective tool use, memory, multiple calls to language models, and multi-agent coordination.
  • Practical awareness of AI operations (AI Ops) or machine learning operations (MLOps), including model/prompt versioning, evaluation pipelines, monitoring, observability, and production environment support.
  • Strong grasp of system design concepts encompassing scalability, reliability, caching, load balancing, and distributed system trade-offs.
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL), addressing authentication, version control, and documentation.
  • Database expertise covering schema design, query performance optimization, and data flow structuring.
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, communication skills, and accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup setting with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large language model platforms and APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or open-source alternatives.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, or AI agent frameworks.
  • Understanding of security principles for both conventional software and AI-related systems.
  • Familiarity with observability tooling including logs, tracing, metrics, and alerting systems.
  • Previous work experience in startups, fast-paced product environments, or applied AI teams.
