Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Field Waste Representative based in Chester to join our dedicated team. This role involves dynamic, hands-on work, with daily traveling to multiple customer sites and fostering strong client relations. You'll be responsible for the safe collection and exchange of various waste streams, including non-hazardous, low-hazardous, and hazardous materials, contributing to environmental safety and compliance.
Work Schedule and Benefits
- Monday to Friday day shifts with no weekend or bank holiday duties.
- Competitive salary starting at 24,400, with on-target earnings reaching 35,000 including bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
- Make 9 to 11 daily visits to client sites, handling the collection and exchange of waste in various hazard categories.
- Safely load and unload drums and containers onto your vehicle.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships across diverse industries.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager and clients to fulfill operational needs and address any concerns.
- Utilize handheld tablet devices and CRM software to coordinate routes, services, and workload effectively.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence and a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Enjoy traveling regularly and building trusted connections with customers.
- Strong communication skills paired with a customer-centric mindset.
- No prior experience in the waste management industry is necessary as full training, including preparations for an ADR licence, will be provided.
