Job description
Role Overview
RNT Maclaren Industries invites qualified candidates to join as a Façade Designer / Draftsman, contributing expertise in façade system design and drafting. The role involves creating detailed drawings and coordinating across various teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce comprehensive shop, fabrication, and installation drawings for façades.
- Design and develop curtain wall systems, aluminum doors and windows, as well as cladding and other façade components.
- Ensure synchronization of drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP requirements.
- Compile material take-offs and support technical submission processes.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, production staff, and site teams.
- Review and update drawings to incorporate all approved technical modifications.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years of relevant experience in façade design or drafting, particularly within the Gulf region.
- In-depth understanding of curtain wall systems, aluminum doors, windows, and associated façade technology.
- Proficient user of AutoCAD and other drafting applications related to the field.
- Ability to accurately interpret and analyze architectural and structural drawings.
- Strong technical aptitude coupled with excellent coordination capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail ensuring precision and reliability in output.
