Job Overview
The Estimator will evaluate, price, and create cost proposals for cybersecurity projects and related solutions. Collaborating closely with solution architects, project managers, and technical teams, the role demands accurate estimations for cybersecurity implementations, managed services, compliance projects, and consulting engagements. Ensuring proposals align with client expectations, company capabilities, and commercial goals while remaining competitive and profitable is essential.
Key Duties
- Interpret customer needs, RFPs, ITTs, and SOWs accurately.
- Craft detailed cost breakdowns for cybersecurity services and solutions.
- Develop pricing structures covering security operations centers and managed security services.
- Account for labor, licensing, hardware, and operational expenses in estimates.
Experience & Knowledge
- 3 to 7 years of experience within the cyber, technology, or electrical security sectors focusing on pre-sales, estimating, bid management, or solution design.
- Proven background in preparing commercial bids and costings for technical projects.
- Understanding of cybersecurity services, technologies, and delivery frameworks.
