Job description
Job Summary
This role involves conducting minor routine maintenance on company vehicles such as engineering trucks, shuttle vans, and electric carts. Tasks include checking oil and fluid levels, tire pressure, charging batteries, and replacing spark plugs. The electrician will also perform preventative maintenance on various tools and equipment by cleaning and lubricating them, maintain accurate maintenance inventory, and place orders for necessary parts and supplies.
Daily Duties
- Keep detailed daily logs documenting operations, maintenance activities, safety measures, instrument tests, and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Comply with all company safety and security policies, report hazards, accidents, and participate in safety training and certification programs.
- Properly store flammable materials and uphold confidentiality and asset protection standards.
- Maintain professional appearance and communication, including phone etiquette and document preparation.
- Foster positive workplace relationships and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Physical requirements include moving or handling objects up to 50 pounds, performing visually detailed inspections, and assuming positions requiring bending, twisting, and stooping.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by supervisors within reasonable scope.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School program relevant to the role.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a related maintenance or electrical role.
- No supervisory responsibilities are expected for this position.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
