AMAALA, located on Saudi Arabia's northwest coastline, offers a varied natural landscape and is a new destination for wellness tourism. Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay will include 220 rooms and suites, private-pool villas, and branded residential villas with stunning views. The resort features a luxury spa with unique therapeutic treatments, including halotherapy and cryotherapy, as well as fitness programs integrated with the natural environment, trails for outdoor sports, and a 27-hole oceanfront golf course.

Role Overview

The position seeks a capable and customer-oriented Electrician to join the Engineering team at the resort. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the individual will manage the installation, upkeep, repair, and supervision of all electrical systems on site to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with the brand's luxury standards. This role is integral to the resort’s preparation before opening and ongoing operations afterward.

Key Duties

  • Assist with inspecting, testing, and commissioning electrical facilities during pre-opening phases.
  • Analyze electrical diagrams, schematics, and specifications to support technical systems handover and configuration.
  • Detect electrical issues, facilitate snagging processes, and collaborate with contractors and consultants to finalize punch lists.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and fix wiring, switchboards, panels, lighting, emergency systems, and guestroom electrical devices.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on systems including distribution boards, UPS, generators, elevators, fire alarms, and kitchen tools.
  • Respond promptly to electrical failures, guest service requests, and urgent maintenance needs.
  • Implement energy-saving measures and assist in monitoring electrical consumption to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed logs of repairs, preventive tasks, and component replacements.
  • Ensure adherence to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and Four Seasons procedures.
  • Support setup of the engineering workshop and manage inventories of electrical parts and equipment.
  • Participate in training to stay updated on safety, fire life safety systems, and emergency readiness.
  • Assist in managing emergencies and major electrical faults to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant diploma, certification, or technical vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within luxury hospitality, facility management, or high-end residential settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage, emergency systems, kitchen equipment, and energy management.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting advanced electrical problems.
  • Ability to comprehend technical manuals, schematics, and engineering blueprints.
  • Effective communicator, cooperative, and dedicated to delivering high internal service standards.
  • Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
