About the Role
Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi invites applications for the position of Dock Hand within its Marina team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to teamwork, integrity, and continuous personal growth, committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe marina environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the marina area.
- Conduct regular inspections by walking marina arms to ensure all guest vessels are secure.
- Identify and eliminate any hazards that may threaten people or property within the marina.
- Assist customers with berthing and departing from slips.
- Deliver prompt and courteous service to members and visitors.
- Comply with all marina policies and procedures while performing duties.
- Provide efficient garbage and recycling services to customers.
- Help manage berth assignments for both casual and permanent patrons.
- Support the Berth Master or Dock Master by towing boats carefully to prevent damage.
- Collaborate in emergency services including rescue, salvage, and firefighting alongside waterfront personnel.
- Offer complimentary trolley services and ensure their proper maintenance and cleanliness.
- Regularly check safety equipment to confirm operational readiness in emergencies.
- Oversee fuel bowser operations ensuring safety and compliance.
- Assist administrative staff with fuel billing processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in a similar dock or marina hand role, preferably in a luxury hospitality context.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with problem-solving aptitude and professional demeanor.
- Basic understanding of dock operations and marine safety protocols.
- Competency in safely handling hand tools and standard dock equipment.
