The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a pay range between $15 and $16 per hour.

Position Summary

As a Dishwasher at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in supporting kitchen and facility operations by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food preparation and dining spaces. Your duties include cleaning equipment, utensils, floors, walls, handling supplies, and assisting with set-up and breakdown tasks. Responsibilities may vary with the specific business needs and client requirements of the assigned account.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manually washing dishes or using dishwashing machines effectively.
• Sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Maintaining clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Disposing of trash and garbage in appropriate designated areas.
• Cleaning kitchen equipment with approved chemicals to meet sanitary standards.
• Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning agents.
• Engaging in significant walking or other mobility during shift.
• Standing or walking for prolonged durations, potentially over 8 hours per shift.
• Performing physical tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and frequently lifting up to 35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
• Maintaining punctual attendance and consistent shift presence.
• Executing other duties as assigned, which may vary by work location.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No prior related work experience is necessary.
• Basic understanding of sanitation protocols and food safety principles.
