Assistant Site Manager

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee and coordinate daily canteen operations ensuring efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction at the Kakinada location in Andhra Pradesh.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the canteen to maintain smooth workflow.
• Supervise food service activities to enhance productivity and ensure high-quality service.
• Liaise effectively with site teams, clients, vendors, and internal departments.
• Manage manpower allocation including attendance tracking, shift scheduling, and fulfilling daily operational needs.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, and maintain food safety, hygiene, and safety standards in line with client requirements.
• Monitor food quality, manage portion control, minimize wastage, and uphold overall service excellence.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports and management information systems on a daily and weekly basis.
• Address and resolve operational challenges promptly.
• Support planning for manpower, coordinate teams, and foster employee engagement.
• Drive high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

Candidate Profile

• Graduation in any discipline; credentials in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Catering are advantageous.
• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in canteen management, food & beverage, catering operations, hospitality, or facility management.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in remote or site-specific environments.
• Strong communication, coordination, and team leadership abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene practices, inventory management, and manpower deployment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Immediate availability or willingness to join within 15 days is preferred.
