Overview

Infosys Limited is seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join their Hyderabad team in a full-time capacity. Candidates should have between two and five years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to enable automated and seamless application delivery.
  • Utilize Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and setup of cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Administer core AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and EKS ensuring efficient operation.
  • Deploy, monitor, and sustain applications running within AWS cloud landscapes.
  • Set up and oversee container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes (specifically EKS).
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code methodologies to promote consistent and scalable deployment processes.
  • Use monitoring tools like CloudWatch to track system performance, availability, and enforce security measures.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve issues within infrastructure, application, or deployment stages across development and production environments.
  • Manage source code and branching workflows with tools including Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Write automation scripts utilizing Python, Shell, or Bash to streamline operational tasks.
  • Establish logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to ensure platform reliability and uptime.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to enhance release cycles.
  • Enforce cloud security standards through IAM policy configuration, managing security groups, encryption, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Optimize cloud resource allocation for cost efficiency and performance improvement.
  • Design and maintain backup procedures, disaster recovery strategies, and high-availability setups.
  • Support DevSecOps by integrating security assessments directly into CI/CD workflows.
  • Document technical processes including deployment guides and operational manuals for team reference.
  • Engage in incident management by conducting root cause investigations and fostering continuous process enhancement.
