Role Overview

In the Palmerston Trade Counter team, your responsibilities will blend delivering products, assisting customers—primarily plumbers and tradespeople—and performing duties that ensure the warehouse and trade counter operate efficiently and safely.

Daily Responsibilities

• Deliver products and parts to customers utilizing the company vehicle.
• Carry out activities such as order picking, packing, and stock management.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse and branch.
• Provide customer service, sharing accurate product information in person and via phone.

Desired Candidate Attributes

• Experience in delivery driving, retail, or customer service, with enthusiasm for assisting customers face-to-face and by phone.
• Competent in order picking, shop floor upkeep, and ensuring accurate customer information.
• Comfortable with computer use and eager to learn new digital systems.
• Possession of a clean, valid driver's license and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
• A career-oriented mindset, aiming to advance within the company locally or in other divisions.
