Data Solution Architect

Overview

The Data Solution Architect holds a critical position focused on creating and deploying data architecture solutions that are secure, scalable, and centered around the needs of citizens. This role aligns with the broader Enterprise Architecture vision, ensuring data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML integrations support organizational strategies, compliance standards, and analytics objectives. Collaborating across various departments, the architect facilitates data-driven governance, boosts operational productivity, and enhances user experiences.

Experience and Skills Required

• Over 15 years of expertise in data solution architecture and defining data strategies within regulated environments.
• Demonstrated success in designing and deploying data platforms and management solutions for government sectors or large enterprises.
• Practical experience architecting and implementing cloud-based data solutions using platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Snowflake.
• Hands-on work with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Iceberg Lakehouse technologies.
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques including STAR schema, Snowflake schema, and Data Vault methodologies.
• Implementation of data quality measures using specialized tools on Azure Databricks.
• Designing batch-oriented and event-driven (real-time) data integration and management architectures.
• Knowledge of secure data handling practices along with compliance and governance frameworks.
• Experience designing and applying AI/ML architectures, particularly involving Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic systems with Lang family, MCP, prompt and context engineering, harness engineering, and AI evaluation methods.
• Superior communication capabilities and effective stakeholder management skills.
