Operations Support Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Operations Support Engineer to join RiDiK Pte Ltd in Singapore. This position requires a professional with over 4 years of experience in IT operations who will oversee and enhance the management of technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute change and incident management workflows utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as AWS Quick, Zendesk, and ServiceDesk, with automation capabilities favored.
• Deploy security protocols and access control strategies to regulate privileged access in both test and production environments.
• Implement comprehensive full stack monitoring—including applications and infrastructure—leveraging Application Performance Management (APM) tools, and preferably cloud-native monitoring solutions like Cloudwatch.
• Drive process automation initiatives aimed at minimizing downtime and reducing human error, using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Apply agile methodologies and integrate practices like DevOps pipelines, test-driven development, and information security standards within the operational workflow.
• Collaborate effectively within a high-performing team, contributing innovative ideas and fostering positive influence.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to devise resourceful and novel technological solutions.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services, with preferred certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or comparable cloud ecosystems.
• Leverage experience with AWS ecosystem services and AI application development, particularly with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool calling, workflow automation, and data lake management, to enhance operational capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable discipline.
• Minimum of four years' experience as an Operations Engineer or similar role within IT environments.
• Proficiency implementing ITSM workflows and automations.
• Hands-on experience with security access controls and cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with scripting tools such as Terraform and Ansible is preferable.
• Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring tools and APM solutions.
• Experience in agile, DevOps, and info-security methodologies.
• Certifications or demonstrated expertise in major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud highly valued.
• Exposure to AI technologies and data management within the AWS ecosystem is an advantageous plus.
