Role Overview
As a Crew Member at Chipotle, you will help create an engaging, welcoming atmosphere for our customers by preparing fresh food by hand without the use of freezers, microwaves, or can openers. We provide thorough training at every station, including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo, equipping you to confidently perform your role. This position offers a pathway to advancement, with over 80% of managerial staff having been promoted from Crew.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh menu items manually following established recipes and quality standards.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Operate various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support operational goals.
Requirements
- Possess a cheerful and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Show passion for delivering excellent service to both customers and coworkers.
- Eagerness to learn extensive cooking and food preparation skills.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) used at this work location.
